The Fool
Upright
beginnings · innocence · spontaneity · leap of faith · potential
The Fool marks the start of a great adventure. You stand at the edge of something entirely new, unburdened by past experience and full of open-hearted optimism. Trust the journey, embrace uncertainty, and take the leap — the universe will catch you.
Reversed
recklessness · naivety · poor judgment · holding back · folly
Unexamined enthusiasm becomes recklessness when the Fool is reversed. You may be rushing into a situation without adequate preparation, or conversely, fear of looking foolish is holding you back from a necessary risk. Pause and look before you leap.
